Almost 30 years ago, my Father bought a piece of
land, and started to build a small house.
It was meant just for the summer, so we could all
escape the city heat and bath, and Dad would have
a garden to plant something.
At that time, I could never imagine that small house
will become a true home to me, place where my kids
were born...One day I will go back there...and stay.

I was born in Zadar, and it is the second best place on this world,
for me. The town is not big, but I like it that way. One does not
have to drive for hours to get somewhere.
We can plan our future, but it will always come out of plans...
So, after being born and living all my life by the sea, in mild
Mediterran climate, everything changed almost overnight.
I could never imagine, having marriage that broke after 17
years, that I will finally meet "Mr. Right", and go so far away
from my home, family, friends, to the country I know almost
nothing about... Well, love does wonders for people...
Anyway, we do not plan to stay here forever. As soon as possible,
we are going back, to my dearest place, Drage.
I am so happy that my husband has fallen in love with it, just
as I did, and he wants us to live there as well.

My hometown is more than 2000
years old. All over the Old town,
located on peninsula, there are
historical remains, from Roman
Forum to lots of Christian
churches.

My true home by heart, Drage.
Beaches are so lovely here, even
the people that live on islands
and are used to the crystal clean
sea, say there are no such
beaches anywhere on the coast.

Here is my first trip to Germany.
Dad and I were visiting my uncle in
Stuttgart when I was 13.
Somehow I get the feeling I did not
like it very much, just from that
look on my face.
